Supplemental Benefits

This year, HealthTeam Advantage introduced several new supplemental benefits to support our members, including meal delivery post-discharge, transportation, and companionship services. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these offerings and alert your HealthTeam Advantage patients to utilize these benefits.

Companionship Services (Papa Pals)—Papa Pals provides personalized non-medical care, assistance with everyday activities of daily living and companionship.

In-Home Meal Delivery (Nations Benefits)—Qualifying members can receive meals delivered to their home post-discharge from an inpatient hospital stay, Skilled Nursing Facility, or other qualifying event.

Memory Fitness (BrainHQ)—BrainHQ is an online neuroplasticity-based brain-training system. The program has 29 online exercises that can be used on a computer or mobile device that work on attention, brain speed, memory, people skills, and navigation.

Over-the-Counter Benefit (Nations Benefits^®)—A quarterly allowance loaded onto a prepaid debit card that can be used to purchase OTC items online, at participating retail locations, or over the phone.

Transportation Benefit (SafeRide)—Pre-scheduled and on-demand rides (e.g., rideshare, ambulatory NEMT, and wheelchair van) to and from approved health-related locations with real-time ride monitoring.

Flexible Wallet Benefit (Nations Benefits^®)—An annual allowance loaded onto a prepaid debit card that can be used for dental, vision, or hearing services with any licensed dental, vision, or hearing provider.
